| COURSE DESCRIPTION | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| New Intensive Courses in English (N.I.C.E.) is a short-term course focused on general English conversation and American culture. It includes approximately 16 hours per week of classroom instruction, plus an additional 4-6 hours of out-of-class activities. Classes are usually held during the morning hours, leaving the afternoon free to enjoy sight-seeing and leisure activities. This program focuses on oral proficiency with much of the class time spent on pair and small group work, role-plays, class discussions, and structured and unstructured conversation exercises, allowing students many opportunities to use and add to their knowledge of English. |
