Conditional Interactions |
The effects of the conditional interactions differ depending on whether the combination of the Earth Base and Facing Star is waxing, strong, or malevolent. These conditions themselves are dependent on their directional location.
These combinations are effective as long as the pairs of numbers are present. It does not matter which number is the Earth Base and which is the Facing Star.
The image on the right shows an individual square with the numbers labeled: 7 = Earth Base; 3 = Mountain Star and 2 = Facing Star (also referred to as Water Star).
One very important principles of Feng Shui one must always remember is:
"Mountain governs people, Water governs wealth"
This means that in every palace of a flying star chart, The Sitting Star or Mountain Star, will influence the health, well-being and fertility of rhe residents using that particular sector. Whereas, a prosperous Facing Star or Water Star will influence the residents wealth and should be spacious and filled with activity. Thus, having your bedroom or study in this sector of your home will enhance your wealth. |

Additive Effects |
The general rules for evaluating the additive effects of the three stars are as follows:
1. A benevolent Earth Base can neutralize a malevolent Mountain Star.
2. A benevolent Facing Star can neutralize a malevolent Mountain Star.
3. A benevolent Facing Star can neutralize a malevolent Earth Base.
4. Both a benevolent Earth Base and a benevolent Mountain Star are needed to neutralize a melevolent Facing Star.
5. Stars that are neutral do not have influence on other stars.
6. When stars are not used to neutralize the effects of other stars, their benefits are additive.
7. If a star is used to neutralize a malevolent star in the same palace, its energy is tied up and cannot be used for other purposes, such as protecting the occupant. |
