| When renting or buying a house or apartment, keep in mind tha a simple floor plan is better than a bad floor plan. By bad, I mean bad Feng Shui. Try to avoid floor plans with too many corners or ones with missing corners. Go for the "Four Point Gold". | |||||||||||||||||||
| I would consider this floor plan a good one because there's no long narrow hallways, and there's no protruding corners. The thing that made this floor plan really bad is that the front door is aligned with the back door. Bedroom # 3 and 4 entrance/door are also directly facing each other. | |||||||||||||||||||
| This floor plan shows the main entrance door aligned with the hallway and the stairs leading upstairs. In Feng Shui, a front door aligned with a stair is believed to bring illness and money loss to the residents. | |||||||||||||||||||
| This house plan is great. I like that the garage is separate and away from the house. The foyer in the main entrance is not so narrow and the stairs is not facing the front door. The thing that I find wrong with this plan is in the kitchen area-- the kitchen sink is directly located across the stove. Another thing is the missing corner. I would probably extend the back porch or the master bedroom so the missing corner is not substantial to make any difference when charting the house gua. |
